I need some help. I have a gjost image of my laptop and want to restore that image to a virtualbox machine on my desktop. I can not figure out how to get the virtualbox machine to see the ghost image file.
I have a ghost 2005 (v9) image c:test.v2i on my desktop computer.
I have a bootable Ghost 2005 ISO image on the desktop.
I can boot the virtualbox machine with Ghost successfully. But I can not see the image on the desktop.
Shared folders will not work because I am not booting Windows
The NAT network does not appear to help me, because norton network services never see any network shares.
Are there settings or some other steps I should take to see the image?
There is no way to mount the v2i file right?
Thanks

After this i tried 2 ways to convert it to VHD, first i fallow your steps, i created a new hard drive in Microsoft Virtual Machine PC 2007 SP1, mounted the new partition (with VHDMOUNT) and restored the GHO file successfully.

I installed Virtualbox on the same computer and created a new WinXP machine. I mount the ghost iso in the virtual box CDROM.
